It is important, if we are to serve effectively, that all things are done “decently and in order”. We have therefore planned our ministry to include the following departments and areas of responsibility.
Most of these activities are already taking place, or are part of the vision for the ministry. In most cases, much of the work is currently being overseen by the main ministry team.
As the ministry grows, leaders responsible for each area will be raised up to oversee the activities and workers in their department. Then, as local churches grow, leaders for those areas of responsibility in the local community will be raised up and trained.
It is not our intent to create a rigid hierarchy, but levels of accountability to ensure that we discharge our duties as stewards of the Lord and co-workers with Christ in accordance with Scripture and the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Evangelism Department
Responsible for Church planting, community outreach and co-ordinating all activities for spreading the Gospel; Offering Bibles, tracts and teaching materials as needed; distributing clothing, food, fees and shelter as part of evangelistic activities.
Discipleship Department
Training leaders, musicians, intercessors and singers, as well as mentoring new believers as they begin their walk with the Lord.
This would include overseeing mentors, organising training sessions, conferences and working with the more formalised Bible training school ministry.
Intercessory Department
A Department dedicated to Intercession for the body of Christ, the ministry, friends and our partners, and leaders. This army is to stand in the gap for the ministry and partners in order to bring restoration, revival and revolution to Nations, subduing satanic kingdoms. [Ezek. 33:29]
Service and Welfare Department
Responsible for overseeing the welfare of the orphaned, widow, elderly and needy in the church community, as well as looking after other practical issues (equipment, maintenance, etc.).
Family Ministries
Responsible for the needs and ministry for Men, Women, Children, and Youth.
All ministries and departments would be responsible to the Leadership of the ministry, serving as the eldership and comprising Jane and David Kipkorir and appointed ministry directors as the Lord leads.
