In addition to the community micro-enterprise projects that we aim to set up wherever we plant a new church, there are several types of income generating projects that can be established to help support the ministry costs and salaries for the pastors in each of these areas.
- A printing firm to create employment and provide resources for spreading the Gospel;
- A tour company, which would also create employment opportunities;
- An orphanage school (primary and secondary) on land we already own in Moiben, Kenya;
- A goat and poultry project in Riwo where the land is suitable for agriculture;
- A Fish pond and expansion of the beekeeping project in Moiben, Kenya.
By investing in these projects, the ministry can extend its outreach and services, as well as being able to eventually contribute to the work of other ministries.
A further benefit, in addition to creating employment opportunities, is that they can contribute to a change in the culture from an "aid receiving" to an "aid giving" one. This is an important shift, which means that the believers within the churches and enterprises are given both a hope for a better future and the opportunity to contribute the work of other churches, ministries and those in need - at home and abroad.
