We trust God to establish a TV and Radio programme in (Riwo Bukwa District in Uganda to cover North Eastern Uganda, Kapchorwa, Karamoja, Pokot-Bagisu, North Rift Valley, Pokot, Turkana, Luya, Sabaot and Western part of Kenya through Mt. Elgon).
In some of these areas people have never seen a TV or listened to Radio. They can only gather to listen to one village radio in the local market.
Through this ministry we can also bring the Gospel to the same raiders who have plundered the area for years, bringing them a message of Reconciliation, Restoration and Love.
Along with this outreach we would establish income generating projects to provide them with an alternative to raiding. Distribution of wind-up and solar powered radios as well as Bibles would be part of this ministry.
Where possible, we may be able to use existing broadcasting facilities, creating the programmes especially for this region, and where such facilities do not exist, to build our own.
It may be possible to establish local village centres with basic internet connections that would provide both broadcasting and other services.
Using the growing celluar network in the region, it could be possible to create an internet radio network channel for little cost. This could also grow to include video broadcasts and village based internet reception facilities could be established at lower cost than building radio transmission towers in areas that are not served by these facilities.
